Valencia recently went out on the Zumiez Couch Tour alongside I See Stars and Forever The Sickest Kids. George from the band was kind enough to offer to host the band’s tour blog from the shows on PropertyOfZack to share it with all of their fans, and we couldn’t be more happy to be hosting it! Hey everyone,
George from Valencia here. Another run of shows is now in the books. We just spent the last two weeks out on the Zumiez Couch Tour, along with I See Stars and Forever the Sickest Kids. Everyone on the tour were amazing to hang out with and we had a blast heading to different malls and meeting so many new people every day. It’s been a long time since we did a run of shows outdoors in the summer time, so it was really sweaty and I got a pretty bad sun burn, but in the end it was all worth it to get back out and bring the rock and roll to the masses! Here are some photos from the tour:
How else could we start a tour off on the right foot than getting a flat tire on the very first day? Thankfully, Bridgestone tires count as martial arts supplies, so of course, we were equipped with a spare.
This is Shane right before we were about to play in Chicago on the Zumiez Couch Tour. We took this picture during the pre-show fashion walk. You can see our friend Green giving the play-by-play to the left as Shane struts his stuff and pops his collar before our set.
Green finishing up his intro to our set by shouting out some tour sponsors, like Keep A Breast, Skullcandy Headphones, and of course, Banquet Media Group.
The Zumiez shows kept us out in the sun all day, and as you can see, Wapner is severely allergic to vitamin D. He was sneezing literally ALL day.
